The Hospital was established in the year 1966 to cater the health needs of poor migrants and agricultural labourers.

The hospital is located at Northern part of Kerala, India in the rural panchayat of Cherupuzha.The hospital nowhasabedstrengthof50andprovidesspecialtycarerelatedtoGeneral medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology,ENT, Dermatology, Pulmonology and Radiology. The hospital also provides 24 hour Casualty,Ambulance, Laboratory, Pharmacy, x-ray services. The hospital caters to Holistic needs of thepatients and provides Pastoral care services. This is the only Catholic hospital within a radiusof60km.
