Alphonsa hospital started on 1979, by the inspiration of Franciscan Clarist

Congregation sisters. It is a charitable hospital and situating the rural area. This hospital

provided a practical example of the spirit of service and sacrifice. This is a 25 bedded hospital

with medical and pediatrics departments. There is a palliative care unit and 24 hour emergency

care services are present.
