Alphonsa hospital Murickassery, previously known as Samaritan Hospital, occupies a unique position on the map of healthcare and Medical Service. Serving the wide- ranging needs of the patients with love, care, concern and compassion, the institution had earned the stamp of good health care. We are proud to say that our hospital has helped lakhs of people to regain their good heath and come back to normal life. The foundation stone of Alphonsa hospital, was laid by Mar.George Punnakottil then Bishop of Kothamangalam in 1990 and Sri.T M Jacob hon’ble Minister for Irrigation, Govt.of Kerala inaugurated it in 1993.This hospital is an initiative of Franciscan Clarist Congregation as part of its humanitarian services. Efficiency and foresight of our Provincials, Directors, Administrators and the whole staff contributed to better the quality of life in the society through preventive and curative services. .....
