Towards imparting good quality healthcare at affordable rates the congregation started a Hospital at Mookkannoor in the year 1951. This Hospital had a very humble beginning to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Priestly Ordination of the founder (late) Arch Bishop Mar Augustine Kandathil, thus accepting the name as “Mar Augustine Golden Jubilee Hospital” or M A G J Hospital. Over the years, the institution grew in size adding new facilities in appropriate timings, duly imbibing the requirement of the people.
This Hospital was set up in a rural area, where there is lack of medical facilities. It is our vision to give proper medical treatment to all the rural folk, at affordable cost.
